Nettside for TABL

tabl.no/

We have designed and created a webpage in Webflow for TABL!

TABL is an app designed to make it easier to explore restaurants and find the right table. Link Utvikling was commissioned to create a landing page that both appeals to restaurant guests and provides a window into the app’s features. The project was carried out in Webflow with design developed in Figma.

Mål og konsept

The goal of the page was to convey how TABL makes restaurant visits more inspiring and less frustrating. The messaging focused on three core steps – discover, filter, and book:

  • Discover: TABL presents an overview of available restaurants in a single interface. There’s no need to visit each website individually; “TABL lets you explore availability across dozens of venues instantly – everything is live, everything in one place.”
  • Filter: Instead of traditional categories, users can filter by mood and occasion. The page highlights how you can pick the right spot for a date, lunch with friends, or a solo outing; the mood-based filters help match the atmosphere to your appetite.
  • Book: The landing page emphasizes that reservations can be made quickly since the app displays real-time capacity.

These three steps form the information architecture of the entire page: a journey from inspiration to action.

Design Choices

Dark theme with colorful accents

The entire page is built around a dark background theme with large images and a red–purple accent color. The goal is to create a sophisticated and exclusive atmosphere that fits premium dining experiences. The contrast makes white text and colorful images stand out. Key actions (download buttons, submit forms, filter buttons) are highlighted with deep red buttons so they stand out against the dark background, while matching the style developed for the app itself.

Visual storytelling

Imagery plays a central role: the hero section features a hand holding the app, and further down the question “What are you in the mood for?” is introduced with images of a romantic date, morning coffee, dinner with friends, and lunch. These cards appeal to emotions and reinforce the idea of choosing a place based on mood. Scrolling through the cards is animated in Webflow to bring the page to life.

Clear call-to-action

The primary goal of the page is to drive app downloads. Download buttons are therefore visible throughout the page: in the hero section, as a sticky button on the right-hand side while scrolling, in the “Start booking with TABL” section, and in the footer.
